Taylor Wilbur scored 28 points to lead No. 8 Maranacook to a 72-65 win against No. 9 Yarmouth in a Western Class B prelim.

The Black Bears trailed 19-5 at the end of the first quarter but turned the game around in the second quarter with a 25-9 advantage. Wilbur made six 3-pointers for the winners while Caleb Jackson chipped in 12 points and Kyle Boucher 11 points, 12 rebounds and three blocked shots.

David Murphy led the Clippers (10-9) with 24 points while Nate Shields-Auble added 12.

Maranacook (9-10) advances to play No. 1 Falmouth on Saturday at the Portland Expo.
