SANFORD 50, BONNY EAGLE 31: Samantha Adams and Morgan Fogg each scored 13 points, and the sixth-seeded Spartans (13-6) opened each half with a run against the 11th-seeded Scots (6-13) in a Western Class A prelim at Sanford.

Taylor Littlefield added eight points, and Janelle Cannon, Heather LeBlanc (13 rebounds) and Shelby Paiement had five apiece for Sanford.

The Spartans led 18-12 after one quarter and 40-25 at the end of three following a 14-7 run in third.

Cassidy Emery, Jessica Ray and Shannon Sanborn each finished with five points for the Scots.
