FREEPORT 48, MARANACOOK 37: The eighth-seeded Falcons (13-6) broke a 6-6 tie with a 19-6 run in the second quarter against the ninth-seeded Black Bears (11-8) in a Western Class B prelim at Freeport.

Nina Davenport scored 12 points with eight rebounds, Jocelyn Davee had 10 points and Ashley Richarson added nine for Freeport.

Christine Miller had 19 points for Maranacook.
