BOYS

Tom Bottomley, Cape Elizabeth junior: Placed ninth in Western Class B and 13th in the state last fall.

Chase Brown, Boothbay Region junior: Runner-up in Class C for state championship team.

Griffin Day, Freeport senior: Placed third in Class C state and Western meets.

Jeremy Earl, Gorham senior: Moved up from 20th in Western Class A to 12th at state meet.

Silas Eastman, Fryeburg sophomore: Runner-up in Class B. Top returning Western Maine Conference runner.

Tim Follo, Falmouth junior: Placed fourth in Western meet and sixth in Class B state meet.

Abshir Horor, Waynflete junior: Runner-up in Class C at 1,600 meters in outdoor (4:28). Ran 16:34 at Ocean Park 5K. New to cross country.

Sam Johnston, Greely senior: Placed fifth in Western meet and 10th in Class B state meet.

Logan Marshall, Gorham senior: Finished seventh in Western meet and 11th in Class A state meet.

Nick Morris, Scarborough junior: Placed fourth in Western meet and 10th in Class A state meet.

Tucker Nixon, Marshwood senior: Fourth-fastest returner from Western Class A meet. Placed 15th in state meet.

Jack Pierce, Merriconeag sophomore: Led underdog team to Western Class C runner-up. Won five-school WMC meet last week.

Andy Reifman-Packett, Mt. Ararat junior: Fastest sophomore at Eastern Class A meet. Won opening six-team KVAC meet last week.

Will Shafer, Gray-New Gloucester freshman: Runner-up to Fryeburg´s Eastman in opening WMC meet that included Greely and Yarmouth.

Jack Terwilliger, Cheverus senior: Placed seventh in Class A for state champs. Runner-up in outdoor track at 1,600 and 3,200 meters.

GIRLS

Kelsey Barton, Cape Elizabeth senior: Placed ninth in Class B for three-time defending state champs.

Heather Evans, York freshman: Won Western Maine Conference debut last week and posted third-fastest time at MDI Relays.

Emily Durgin, Cheverus junior: New England champion who ran at Foot Locker nationals in San Diego. Western Class A champion.

Fiona Hendry, Cheverus junior: Finished 13th at New Englands, the third Maine runner behind Durgin and Abby Mace of Maranacook.

Abbey Leonardi, Kennebunk junior: Two-time Class A state champion who finished 22nd at Foot Locker nationals.

Kendra Lobley, Poland senior: Finished seventh in Class B. Indoor and outdoor state champion at 800 meters.

Katie McMahon, Brunswick junior: Placed third in Eastern Class A meet and fourth in the state.

Teresa Murphy, Brunswick freshman: Runner-up to teammate McMahon in first four-school KVAC meet last week.

Rachel Nichols, Cape Elizabeth senior: Placed fourth in Class B. State champ in indoor mile and runner-up at 800 meters.

Nyajock Pan, South Portland sophomore: Placed 14th in Class A and this week won opening four-team SMAA meet.

Ella Ramonas, Deering junior: Finished 10th at Class A state meet. Outdoor state champion at 800 meters.

Mia Rapolla, Gorham senior: Sixth in Class A state meet in first season of running. Standout lacrosse player.

Kate Spies, Mt. Ararat senior: Runner-up in Eastern Class A who led the Eagles to regional team title.

Michaela Swiatek, York senior: Fifth in Class B. Runner-up in outdoor state meet at 1,600 meters.

Martha Veroneau, Waynflete sophomore: Defending Class C state champion leads Flyers team seeking fourth straight state title.
