Coach: Joe Scribellito (4th season)
Last season: 16-1, Western D champions
Top returners: F Eric Murrin (Sr.), MF Joey Scribellito (Sr.), G Bruce Carver (Sr.), D Tommy Carter (Jr.), D Josh Rice (Sr.), MF Nick Woods (Sr.), MF Eric Dowd (Sr.), F Michael Christie (Jr.)
Key newcomers: D Andrew Rossignol (Jr.), D Kade Strout (So.) F Tyler Cray (Jr.), MF Kyle O’Brien (Jr.), MF Ben Carver (So.), G Tyler Harrington (So.)
Outlook: The Bobcats graduated two exceptional four-year starters in Andy Harrington and Jason Brown. But this year’s team could be as strong or stronger than the one that went unbeatem until last fall’s state final. Murrin is a proven goal scorer and Coach Scribellito thinks Christie can fill the void left by Harrington. And Carver is one of the top goalies in the state regardless of class. Moreover, the core of the team has played together for several years.
Coach’s comment: “Their work ethic is second to none. This team is a pretty motivated bunch.”
