Coach: Karen Magnusson (5th season)
Last season: 21-1, Eastern Class A champions
Top returners: G Josie Lee (Sr., 5-8), G Emily Sanford (Sr., 5-8), G Emily Quirion (Jr., 5-5), G Lindsey Quirion (Jr., 5-3), G Hayley Quirion (Jr., 5-7), G Alyssah Dennett (Jr., 5-6), G Olivia Deeves (Jr., 5-4), F Bayleigh Logan (Jr., 5-8)
Key newcomers: Paige Lamarre (So., 5-5), Brooke Whitley (Jr. 5-6), F Becca Coniff (So., 5-9).
Outlook: The Rams are small and quick and will press to offset their lack of size. They also have a number of good shooters and will take quick shots to keep opponents out of rebounding position. Lee led the KVAC in rebounding last season despite her size and is one of the KVAC’s better passers and scorers. They won’t be the favorites in Class A East this season but they’ll contend and they can’t be overlooked.
Coach’s comment: “Even though there’s a couple of favorites in the league, everybody’s going to have to show up. We don’t have a lot of height but we have a lot of heart.”
