Coach: Mike LeBlanc (14th season)
Last season: 13-6, reached Western Class D quarterfinals
Top returners: G Bailey Brown (Sr., 4-10), F Anna Carrier (Jr., 5-6), G Kori Coro (Jr., 5-4), G Haley Cuddy (So., 5-4), C/F Josie Hoyt (Jr., 5-6), G Dana McNally (Jr., 5-1), G Keely Taylor (So., 5-5)
Key newcomers: F Claudia Wickler (Jr., 5-6), G Samantha Begin (So., 5-1), G Jessica Hoyt (Fr., 5-2), G Mikayla Mackey (Fr., 4-10), G/F Linda Riley (Fr., 5-7)
Outlook: The Tigers have no seniors, but still bring back all five starters from last season’s tournament team. With Taylor, McNally and Carrier, there are a lot of ways to score and the players put in a lot of time in the offseason. Forest Hills will look to compensate for its lack of height by using its speed advantage.
Coach’s comment: “They’ve been working very hard. I’ve been putting it to ’em.”
