Coach: Al Veneziano (26th season)
Last season: 15-4, lost in Western Class C quarterfinals
Top returners: G Sam Bruce (Sr., 5-5), G Allie McClintock (Sr., 5-6), F Erika Parker (Sr., 5-8), C Courtney Taylor (Sr., 6-0), F Alex Jarvais (Jr., 5-8), G Savanna Kandiko (Jr., 5-4), F Emily McKenney (Jr., 5-8), G Cristie Vicneire (Jr., 5-6), G Kirsten Wood (Jr., 5-6)
Key newcomers: F Shelby Cutten (Sr., 5-9), G Bronte Elias (So., 5-8), G Monica Ouellete (So., 5-5), F Aly LeBlanc (Fr., 5-9)
Outlook: The Bulldogs definitely lost some key players to graduation, but should have the pieces to again be a playoff team in Western C. They know how to play in the system, and they’re deep enough that Veneziano can make lots of substitutions.
Coach’s comment: “We’ve got a very veteran group that is back from last year’s team. They have a seriousness about them that they want to be competitive. They want to get back to the level they were at last season.”
