Coach: Molly Bishop (7th season)
Last season: 20-2, Western Class D champions
Top returners: C Jamie Plummer (Sr., 6-0), F Alyssa Pearson (Sr., 6-0), G Bri Snedeker (Sr., 5-6), G Emily Leavitt (Sr., 5-8), G Payton Johnson (Sr., 5-7), G Noell Acord (Sr., 5-4), G Haley Murphy (Jr., 5-5), F Ciarra Lancaster (Sr., 5-10), F Morgan Harrington (Jr., 5-9)
Key newcomers: Julie Plummer (Fr., 5-9), Autumn Acord (Fr., 5-5) Kaylah Patterson (Fr., 5-5), Kelsey Anair (Fr., 5-8)
Outlook: The two-time defending Western Maine class D champions graduated just one player from last year’s 20-win team. Plummer is one of the top players in the state in Class D and has some size and experience around her. The success of either Snedeker or Johnson at point guad will be a key for the Bobcats this season, although their depth, size and experience should take them a long way.
Coach’s comment: “We’re at least as good if not better (than last year). We had a successful summer.”
