Key newcomers: Zach Greenham, Manuel Liway, Matt Gyorgy
Outlook: The Black Bears, the defending KVAC and Class B champs, could very well be on the path to a repeat. Maranacook lost just one skier from last season, and will be led by a strong duo in Daigle and Delmar. With the addition of a couple of newcomers, the Black Bears are on the right path to a title run. Gifford said how the group improves in giant slalom will determine how well they place this season.
Coach’s comment: “Strong leadership and commitment to team success will help drive (the team) throughout the season.”
