|Coach: Bob Johnston (19th year)
Last season: fourth in KVAC Class B, 14th in Class B
Top returners: Brianna Bernier (Sr., freestyle, backstroke, I.M.), Treva deMaynadier (Sr., freestyle, I.M.), Emily Edwards (Sr., freestyle, backstroke), Amethyst Miller (Sr., freestyle), Sarah Ringer (Sr., freestyle, breaststroke), Allison Scully (Sr., freestyle), Emily Cote (Sr., freestyle), Mollie Pleau (Sr., freestyle, butterfly), Josalyne Beringer (Jr., freestyle), Kayla Redman (So., freestyle, I.M.), Margaret Reisert (So., freestyle, backstroke, I.M.)
Key newcomers: Chinmai Pavikh (Sr., freestyle), Izzy Labbe (Fr., breaststroke, IM, freestyle).
Outlook: A group of four solid seniors (Bernier, deMaynadier, Ringer and Scully) return. Last winter, Bernier qualified for the Class B state meet in the 100 back and 200 IM. deMaynadier also qualified for states in the 500 free, while Ringer qualified in the 100 breaststroke. Redman and Reisert continue to show improve and should be valuable contributors, while Labbe should also be a factor.
Coach’s comment: “With a strong group of experienced swimmers, we should be fairly competitive in the Class B league events.”
