Outlook: Skowhegan should field a highly competitive team in KVAC A. Lee returns as one of the top throwers in the conference. She finished fifth in the shot put at the KVAC A indoor meet last winter. Lancaster qualified for the Class A state outdoor meet in the 100-meter, 200 and long jump. Cushman also qualified in the 100 and triple jump last spring.
Coach’s comment: “(I’m) excited about the girls squad. (This is the) best group of athletes the program’s seen in a long time. (We) should be very competitive with several top-tier athletes.”
