THORNTON ACADEMY
Coach:
Kevin Kezal, 10th year
Last year: 10-1, lost in Western Maine final
Returning starters: 10
Impact players: Steve Trask, senior, QB/DB; Peter Remmes, senior, RB/LB; Zach Sheehan, senior, FB/LB; Tim Grose, senior, WR/DB; Michael Remillard, senior, RB/LB; Chad Harvey, senior, WR/DB; Joe Geaumont, senior, G/DT; Sam Lalezari, senior, G/DE; Dimitri Skinsacos, junior, TE/LB; Josh Woodward, junior, QB/LB; Cody MacCabe, junior, OT/DT; Fred Randall, junior, C/DT; Cody Chaloult, junior, OT/LB; Dylan Merritt, senior, WR/DB
Outlook: The Golden Trojans have talented players at the skill positions but are looking to replace linemen lost to graduation. Thornton, the top team in York County, could be one of the best teams in the league if the line develops. Trask is one of the top option quarterbacks in Class A. He passed and ran for close to 1,000 yards each last season. Sheehan rushed for 1,200 yards. Skinsacos is a strong blocker and a big target as a pass receiver. Geaumont and Lalezari got a lot of playing time in the line.
