Box Score

Coach: Rob Schmidt (13th season)
Last season: 9-9
Top returners: C Kyle Boucher (Sr., 6-7), G Andrew Lachance (Sr., 6-0), G Jesse Evans (Sr., 5-9), G James Boyman (Sr., 5-10), G Carson Dalheim (Sr., 5-8), F Adam Brooks (Sr., 6-0), G Taylor Wilbur (Jr., 5-10), F Brad Worster (Jr., 6-2), F Kevin Johnson (Sr., 6-1), G Caleb Jackson (Jr., 5-6), F Cameron Brochu (So., 6-0)
Key newcomers: G Kent Mohlar (Fr., 5-11), G Cody Solmitz (So., 5-8), G Zach Elwell (Sr., 5-10)
Outlook: The Black Bears return a talented group although they’re plagued by a couple of nagging injuries that cold hurt them in the early going. Boucher, a shooter and shot blocker, is one of the better big men in the league, while Wilbur and Jackson can fill it up from the outside. The Bears have good depth but not a lot of size after Boucher. Evans is a disrupter on the defensive end.
Coach’s comment: “It’s one of the most athletic groups I’ve had in quite awhile, They enjoy running and pressing.”
