Marshwood Boys Basketball
Coach: Mike Zamarchi, 18th year
Last year: 13-6, lost in Western Class A quarterfinals
Returning starters: 2
Impact players: Dan Veino, sr., G; Brady Innes, jr., C; Brady Dodge,
jr., G; Jack Letellier, jr., G; Alex McLean, sr., G; Robert Jones, sr.,
G; Drew Bartlett, so., G; Ryan O’Neil, fr., G; Bali Lontine-Kearson, fr., F
Outlook: The Hawks have the experience that should give them a good
chance of making the tournament. Marshwood graduated its top two
scorers, but there’s enough scoring potential back to cushion the loss.
Innes is the tallest player back at 6-6. He averaged 8.8 points and
eight rebounds a game. It’s him and a bunch of quick guards that will
lead the team. Veino averaged 7.7 points a game. Dodge will play point
guard. The Hawks feel they’re an upper-echelon team. Now they just have
to go out and prove it.
