Key newcomers: F Sam Wheeler (Sr., 6-2), G Isaac Witham (Fr., 5-8)
Outlook: Bacon is the lone returning starter for the Indians. Skowhegan lost Levi Barnes and Ethan Johnson to graduation, and that duo accounted for 69 percent of the team’s offense last season. Simpson expects improvement from a trio of sophomores — Holland, Frost and Quirion. Wheeler returns to the team after a year away and will provide leadership. With only three seniors on the team, Skowhegan is one of the youngest teams in the KVAC.
Coach’s comment: “Our team’s basketball IQ has improved a lot in the last few years and all our players have great attitudes and are working very hard.”
