Top returners: G Jordon Holmes (Jr., 5-11), G/F Travis Stacey (Sr., 6-2), C Elijah Steele (Sr., 6-4), G Ryan Erskine (Jr., 5-11), F Aaron Gagne (Sr., 6-3), F Taylor Clark (Sr., 6-2)
Key newcomers: F Devin Campbell (Jr., 6-2), G Jordan Greenleaf (Jr., 5-11), G Quinn Warren (Jr., 5-8), F Nick Mayo (So., 6-5), F Eric VanDerKerr (Jr., 6-5), F Jordan Carson (Jr., 6-2)
Outlook: Coming off a strong summer season, the Eagles appear to have the talent to make a push toward the Class A East playoffs. The team’s point guard, Holmes is a good ball distributor and a scoring threat. Gagne, Steele and Stacey can also score. The Eagles have some size, with eight players 6-foot-2 or taller. Playing strong defense will be a key to any Messalonskee playoff hopes.
Coach’s comment: “It’s a pretty tight-knit group. They have a goal of getting to the tournament.”
