Outlook: The Bulldogs return seven seniors and a pair of starters in the
backcourt in Perkins and Violette. Haney can shoot well from outside, while
Spaulding hopes to be a strong player in the low post. Last season, the
Bulldogs overachieved and reached the regional semis. This team has the
potential to go deep in the tournament again.
Coach’s comment: “This is the best team I’ve had in a long time. The East
is wide open and it’s great to have seven seniors. I think it gives you a
shot.”
