Touching Down in Fort Myers

What a difference 12 hours can make! I drove into Portland this morning with the temperature in my car reading 15 degrees. Currently, I’m sitting in my hotel room in lovely Fort Myers, Florida with the temps a cool 75 degrees. The lady at the front desk said “hopefully it will get warmer in the morning.”

I will be covering the Sea Dogs until March 27, attending games at the Minor League complex and catching up with some former Portland greats at the City of Palms Park.

This Sunday I’ll be attending the Red Sox game as the host the Florida Marlins, I’m hoping to catch up with former Sea Dog Hanley Ramirez.

Good night for now!
