After a two day absence Jacoby Ellsbury is back in the Sea Dogs line-up for tonights 6:00 PM game with the Bowie Baysox.

News & Notes:
The Sea Dogs held a press conference this morning to officially kick off the fundraising efforts for the 2007 Strike Out Cancer in Kids program. Local media members and the Sea Dogs pitching staff took part in a hitting competition to raise money for the Maine Children's Cancer Program. Lee Goldberg from WCSH6 was the overall winner. Bryce Cox was the only participant to knock one out of the park. The competition raised over $2,000 for the Maine Children's Cancer Program.
At 2:00 PM this afternoon, the annual team photo will be taken.
Jacoby Ellsbury has reached base in 23 straight games dating back to August 27, 2006…He improved his hitting streak to 13-games with an RBI double on Saturday, the longest streak for a Sea Dog since Chris Durbin hit in 13 straight games from July 25-August 11, 2005. Ellsbury’s .455 average is the best in
minor league baseball and his .507 On-Base Percentage is third…The former Oregon State product is second in the Eastern League with a .667 Slugging Percentage, despite not hitting a home run. Ellsbury is a candidate for Eastern League Player of the Month. He could become the first Sea Dog to earn the honor since Josh Beckett in August of 2001.
