Sea Dogs Traffic Alert for June 28

The Portland Sea Dogs would like to alert fans to the possibility of heavy traffic congestion on Thursday, June 28th around the area of Hadlock Field. Fitzpatrick Stadium will be hosting a major soccer event which is expected to bring thousands to the area. Although this event should wrap up by 6:00 PM, heavy traffic congestion is expected with the Sea Dogs scheduled to take on the Connecticut Defenders at 7:00 PM. Please plan accordingly.

Additionally, parking in the area is expected to be challenging. Two lots; Maine Medical Center Lot 1 and Maine Medical Center Lot 2 will be reserved strictly for Sea Dogs fans.

Maine Medical Center Lot 1: This is the Congress Street Medical Building Garage located one block from Hadlock Field. Please use the Forest Street entrance off of Congress Street.

Maine Medical Center Lot 2: This lot is located at 995 Congress Street and is a 10 minute walk to the ballpark with easy in/ easy access to I295. Enter on Congress Street (from I295 North Exit 5 or I295 South Exit 5A follow Congress St to the left at the lights at County Way).

These lots are staffed throughout the game.

The first 1,000 fans through the gate tonight will receive a Jacoby Ellsbury bobblehead doll courtesy of Irving Oil.
